Good Start 2010

It's another year. Happy New Year 2010! It has been quite a good start for me this year and I believe good things will keep on coming my way. Well, be positive. Already set a few targets for myself and hope I'll achieve all of them this year. Go Go Go!

Old Bean's Birthday

Joined my family in Penang and went for a trip to KL during Daddy's birthday. Wei Ya came all the way from Seremban to meet us and she even bought a cake and gift for the B'day man. It's so sweet of you!

Tzu Chi Blessing Concert

Mom invited me to attend a Blessing Concert in Penang by Tzu Chi Foundation on Christmas Day. The event was held at Penang International Sport Arena (PISA). The event was mainly about telling people to do good and always help each other without expecting return. Through out the night there was musical performance by members from around the world. The lighting of the indoor stadium made the event colorful.

Sporting Upgrade

After 2 months of waiting, finally the pedals and shoes were sent to me. Still haven't put them on my bike. However the shoes in white were out of stock and I'll settle with the black one. Hopefully I'll have time to assemble everything together tomorrow.
Fay bought me a badminton racket from Bangkok during his recent trip there. The price of Yonex Titanium 10 there is half of the price in M'sia. Can't wait to try it out on the court. Thanks bro!

Friday Outing

A friend visited KB over the weekend. On Friday after a simple lunch at Meena Curry House, we headed out to Tumpat area which has a few temples. Just the same route we went during Jia Li's visit (Tour Guide For A Day).
Fay has been asking me to shoot his car and these are some simple shots.

Upcoming: Pedals & Shoes

I started out cycling from mountain biking. Bought my ex-road bike 2 years ago and I was still using MTB pedals on it. Recently I've been riding more often and longer distance hence an upgrade on pedals and shoes crossed my mind.

I'm thinking of LOOK KéO Sprint in red! According to the spec sheet, it only weights 130g a pair with 2 bearings for smoother pedaling.
SIDI Genius 5.5 Carbon Composite in white should be my choice as a new pair of shoes. I've tried Specialized and Shimano's one but nothing can beat Sidi's in term of comfort.

2008 Scott CR1 Pro

Finally I've the time to take some photos of my new ride. Traded in the Scott Speedster S20 for this full carbon Scott CR1 Pro as a birthday present for myself. I've always wanted to ride a carbon bike and finally my dream comes true.

I've been riding it for few times and one word will describe all - AWESOME!!! Although it looks the same as my ex-bike, the ride is totally different. The feedback from the road is direct, good handling, light weight, and comfortable! Still trying to get the right position for the bike so a more detail write-up will come later.

Lance Armstrong's Home

I always like to see how great sportsmen live their life. Found some pics of 7 times Tour de France winner, Lance Armstrong's home in Austin, Texas. Lance is also the founder of Lance Armstrong Foundation which helps people believe that everyone has the power to make their life better with the spirit "LIVESTRONG".The Spanish colonial-style house. The media room where he hangs all his 7 times tour-winning jerseys.

Simple Present

It's another year older. Time really flies when you grow older and older. Last year birthday feels like few months ago. Life is getting better now, thanks to all the the help, luck and opportunity that I get from my family especially Mom & Dad. Thank you.

I've set myself a few wishes for this year. It will be great if I can achieve all of them. v(^_^)v
~ Better and stronger career.
~ Self improvement.
~ Ride stronger.
~ Stable relationship.
~ A happy person everyday.

I seldom ask or receive present for my birthday. Never really hope for any too. Few days before birthday, I received a small parcel which contains a birthday card, a belt and a sexy lady ashtray bought in Chiang Mai. I just love them as it's from someone special. Mucho gracias!
This year I bought myself something lovely too. I got a very good deal and traded in the old one. Here are some teasers as I haven't put on the wheels yet.
SEXY CARBON FIBER!Bought a 2009 Team Columbia Highroad jersey. This is the latest one which they wore in Tour de France. Reason: I'm riding a Scott bike too. LoL.

Steamboat Treat

Went for steamboat buffet with some good friends in conjunction with my birthday. As usual, lots of laughter and jokes. Not missing out nice pictures too from Cindy's D-SLR.
